New Businesses Bring New Energy to Big Bay: Huron Mountain Outfitters and Huron Mountain Ice Cream Celebrate Grand Openings

Big Bay, Michigan, is welcoming two new businesses to the community with open arms. Huron Mountain Outfitters and Huron Mountain Ice Cream, owned separately by father and son Charlie Drury and Hayden, have recently celebrated their grand openings.

Charlie has been the owner of Huron Mountain Outfitters for many years, providing the community with outdoor goods and rental equipment. Meanwhile, Hayden is excited to bring a new venture to the area with Huron Mountain Ice Cream, which will be opening its doors on May 10.

Both businesses held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark their grand openings and expressed their excitement about bringing new energy to Big Bay. Charlie shared his hopes of continuing to provide the community with quality outdoor products while also attracting more business in the area. Hayden expressed his hopes of making Big Bay a destination for campgrounds and families looking for fun activities.

Despite some friendly competition between the two businesses, Charlie and Hayden are grateful for the supportive community in Big Bay. The town’s positive growth and energy are evident with new ownership of hotels and other businesses in the area.

Huron Mountain Outfitters offers a wide range of outdoor supplies and rental equipment, while Huron Mountain Ice Cream will provide delicious ice cream and shakes that are perfect for warming up on chilly days or cooling off during hot summer months.

Overall, the Drurys are excited about their new ventures and look forward to contributing to the growth and prosperity of Big Bay while providing residents with quality products and services that they can enjoy all year round.
