23.8 million Subscribers in the Emirates Accessing “E&D” and “Du” Services

The total number of subscribers to mobile and fixed telephone services in the Emirates increased to 23.81 million at the end of the first quarter of this year. Both E& and Du showed significant growth in their subscriber bases. E& experienced a 5% increase, reaching 14.5 million subscribers, while Du saw a 5.7% increase in the number of mobile subscribers, reaching 8.7 million subscribers. Additionally, the number of fixed-line telephone customers grew by 11.1% year on year, reaching 616 thousand subscribers.
