Bay Area Sports Spectacular: A Weekend of Competition

Thursday’s local events are packed with a variety of sports competitions across the Bay Area. In prep badminton, the BAC Mixed Doubles Finals will take place at Lick-Wilmerding. Meanwhile, in prep baseball, games include Redwood at Archie Williams, San Rafael at Terra Linda, Tam at Marin Catholic, Branson at International, and Novato at San Marin.

For boys lacrosse, matchups include Casa Grande at Marin Catholic, Tam at Redwood, Terra Linda at Justin-Siena, Novato at Livermore, and Marin Academy at Monte Vista. In girls lacrosse, games include Monte Vista at Marin Catholic, California at Redwood, University at San Marin, Tam at San Ramon Valley, and Branson at Campolindo.

Prep track & field will have the MCAL Meet at San Rafael HS on Friday. Boys volleyball features Redwood playing De La Salle and Archie Williams facing off against Albany in the NCS D-II and NCS D-III divisions respectively. The BAC Doubles Finals in prep badminton will also take place on Friday. Additionally on Friday college baseball has COM playing Lassen in the NorCals while prep softball includes San Rafael playing Piner
