Triple Threat: CAA Sports Set to Host Conference Championship, NCAA Regional Championship, and Race for Regular-Season Title

The upcoming weekend in CAA sports is set to feature a conference championship, an NCAA regional championship, and the race for a CAA regular-season championship.

First up, the CAA Rowing Championship is returning to the Cooper River in Pennsauken, N.J. after a one-year absence with a new format in 2024. The competition will include eight teams and will take place over two days, on Friday, May 17, and Saturday, May 18. The dominant Northeastern team will be looking to capture their 10th consecutive conference title. In CAA Softball, the champion UNCW will kick off their NCAA Tournament on Friday at 5:30 p.m. as they face off against No. 11 Georgia at Jack Turner Stadium. Joining them in the Athens Regional on the University of Georgia campus are the American Athletic Conference Champions Charlotte and the Conference USA Champions Liberty. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.

Finally, in CAA Baseball, the regular season comes to a close this weekend with 10 teams still in the running for a spot in the CAA Baseball Championship
