Grand Opening of Downtown Business Set for Friday Afternoon

Family Promise Metrowest Opens New Heat Pump & HVAC Showroom to Raise Awareness and Support for Homeless Families

Family Promise Metrowest is hosting a grand opening event for the new Heat Pump & HVAC Showroom at 3 Main Street in downtown Southborough. The event will take place on Friday, May 3rd at 2:00 pm and is open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring an “item” or make a donation to the charity, which supports families with children facing homelessness by providing shelter, education, and comprehensive support.

The charity serves low- and moderate-income families with at least one child under 18 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Family Promise Metrowest welcomes all genders and family compositions, prioritizing families from the Metrowest region. Hiller’s Cleaners recently closed their downtown Southborough location, but still have a presence in Hopkinton.

In addition to the ribbon cutting ceremony, there will be free food, various prizes and raffles for gift cards to neighboring downtown businesses. The giveaway for a Free Mini Split System is valued at up to $8K but does not include electrical work. This event aims to promote community involvement and raise awareness about the importance of supporting families in need.
