CBSE hosts Science Challenge Program for Students in Grades 8 to 10

The CBSE Science Challenge is a program organized by the Central Board of Secondary Education for students in classes 8 to 10. It aims to promote curiosity, inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills among students. The challenge is divided into two rounds: an intra-school competition and an inter-school challenge. The core theme of the challenge is science, environment, and sustainability.

Students do not need to pay any application fee to participate in either round of the CBSE Science Challenge. The first round is open to students from classes 8 to 10 in CBSE-affiliated schools, with school registration required for participation. In the second round, schools can nominate their top six students from each participating class to compete.

The challenge paper will consist of multiple-choice questions that test both speed and accuracy. Participants in the second round will receive online participation certificates from the Board, and top-performing students will be awarded appreciation certificates. Schools are encouraged to support student participation in the CBSE Science Challenge to help students develop and showcase their skills.
