High School Sports Scene Heats Up: A Busy Week of Competitions Across the Bay Area

On Monday, the local high school sports scene is buzzing with a variety of competitions taking place in different locations. In prep baseball, Terra Linda will be playing at Branson at 4:30 p.m. at the College of Marin, while Mt. Diablo will face San Rafael at 4:30 p.m. at San Rafael High School. Meanwhile, boys golf will have the NCS D-II tournament all day at Peacock Gap, and boys tennis will have the NCS D-II singles and doubles matches at Golden Gate Park.

Tuesday, May 7th is packed with even more high school sports action! In prep baseball, the MCAL semifinals feature Marin Catholic at Redwood and Novato at San Marin, both starting at 4:30 p.m. In boys lacrosse, NCS D-I games include Monte Vista at Marin Catholic and De La Salle at Redwood, both starting at 5:30 p.m., while girls lacrosse matchups include Marin Catholic vs Redwood and Acalanes vs San Marin, beginning also on Tuesday from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm .

On Tuesday there are several boys tennis competitions scheduled too; Heritage will face Redwood , Marin Academy will compete against Arcata , Middletown against Branson , San Domenico against Head Royce and Marin Catholic against Piedmont; matches start throughout the day in different locations! It’s looking like it’s going to be an exciting couple of days for local high school sports enthusiasts!
