On May 1 and 2, a diverse group of political, business, and philanthropic leaders will gather in New York for the Global Citizen NOW summit. Leading the charge are Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh, Botswana President Mokgweetsi Masisi, and Verizon CEO Hans Vestberg. The nonprofit announced on Thursday that actors Hugh Jackman, Danai Gurira, and Dakota Johnson will also be attending. Along with representatives from companies like Cisco, Citi, Delta, and PayPal, they will join leaders like Rockefeller Foundation President Rajiv Shah and Bezos Earth Fund CEO Andrew Steer.

The summit’s focus is on defeating preventable diseases such as malaria, polio, and HPV.
