Feds Charge Spa Owner for Running a Prostitution Ring: Allegations and Concerns Raised for Customers

Linian Song, owner of S Wellness Spa in Rochester and New Elegant Shiatsu in Lockport, is facing federal charges for allegedly using his spas to run a prostitution business across Western New York. According to a complaint filed in Buffalo federal court on Monday, Song is accused of promoting commercial sex acts and services online.

Investigators found that customers who visited the spas claimed they paid for massages but instead received sexual acts from spa employees. The complaint also alleges that Song used Backpage-type websites to advertise these services.
