The International Legal Technology Association has recognized Alma Asay, Crowell & Moring’s chief innovation and value officer, as one of the Influential Women in Legal Technology for 2024. This annual list highlights women leaders in the global legal technology community who have made a significant impact through mentorship and their work in legal technology.

Asay is a seasoned innovation leader with over twenty years of experience in the legal industry. In her role at Crowell, she oversees various initiatives related to client value, business intelligence, knowledge management, practice innovation, research services, and generative AI. As a thought leader in the industry, Asay frequently speaks at conferences and leads presentations on innovation and value topics for clients.

Before joining Crowell & Moring LLP, Asay began her career as a lawyer at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher before founding Allegory, a cloud-based litigation management platform that was later acquired by Integreon Discovery Solutions. She then served as Integreon’s chief innovation officer before joining Litera Microsystems, where she focused on enhancing the company’s visibility and customer relationships through collaborations with industry leaders and the development of technologies for lawyers.
