Attend the Upcoming Safford Spotlight on Small Business Event: A Platform to Learn from City Officials

The Safford Spotlight on Small Business event is just around the corner, with the opportunity to reserve a seat closing soon. Scheduled to take place at the Manor 415 Convention Center on Monday, April 1, this event promises small business owners and operators an unparalleled chance to meet with city officials, including Mayor Richard Ortega and City Manager John Cassella.

At attendees will learn about business licensing requirements, the role of the city’s Planning and Community Development Department, and the new beneficial ownership reporting requirements from the Financial Crimes Network of the IRS. Mayor Ortega encourages both new and established small business owners to attend as there may be new information to glean from the event.

The event will begin with a continental breakfast and networking at 7 am, followed by a 90-minute program starting at 7:30 am. It’s worth noting that there is no cost to attend this event. This event is sponsored by several organizations such as the City of Safford, Graham County Chamber of Commerce, Small Business Development Center at Eastern Arizona College, and Safford Downtown Association.
