Crane work at the Center of Brain Health leads to road closure

Urgent Crane Work on Charles Katz Drive: What You Need to Know About the Road Closure

On Saturday, May 11, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., a section of Charles Katz Drive, between the intersection of Floyd Curl and the driveway of Garage G, will be closed due to crane work to lift air conditioning units onto the top of the Center for Brain Health. If the work is not completed by 5 p.m. on May 11, the closure will continue until 5 p.m. on May 12.

During the road closure, Garage G and the employee sections of the Medical Arts and Research Center (MARC) and Center for Oral Health Care and Research (COHCR) garages will be accessible via the Ewing Halsell Drive side of Charles Katz Drive. Access to Charles Katz Drive can be gained from the roundabout at Ewing Halsell Drive and Sid Katz Drive.

The entrances to the patient garages for the MARC and COHCR from Floyd Curl will remain accessible. For more information about the road closure or parking, please contact the parking office via email at parking@uthscsa.edu or by calling 210-567-2800.
