Progress Report Released by UC Health on Climate Pledge Commitments

UC Health Leads the Way in Climate Resilience Planning for Health Care Providers

The Health Sector Climate Pledge has brought attention to the importance of climate action for health care providers, including University of California Health. As a participant in the pledge, UC Health is committed to providing exceptional clinical care, educating future health professionals and conducting research to enhance the health and quality of life for Californians.

As part of this effort, UC Health is collaborating with over 130 organizations and 900 hospitals to develop comprehensive and equitable climate resilience plans across the system. A recent report highlights the progress made by individual Health Centers and outlines the next steps in UC Health’s resilience planning journey.
