Can Humans Use GPS Tracking Devices? – Technological Advancements

Tracking Technology: Finding Alternative Ways to Stay Safe and Connected

I recently experienced a flat tire on my bike while commuting home for dinner with my wife. This made me realize the importance of being able to track my location and speed of travel in real-time, so that she could monitor me and ensure that I arrived safely. After some research, I came across the idea of using a tracking device on myself or my bicycle, which would allow her to track my movements and ensure that I was safe.

During a conversation with a hair stylist, she mentioned how she uses GPS tracking technology to monitor the geographic location of her children using their cellphones. This made me consider whether it would be possible to achieve similar tracking capabilities without the need for a cell phone.

I remembered hearing about convicted criminals who are required to wear GPS tracking devices as part of their sentence, and this led me to wonder if it would be feasible to adopt similar tracking technology for personal use without the use of a cell phone. While tracking devices are commonly used for cars, I contemplated carrying one around as an alternative to carrying a cell phone if I wanted to resist using it altogether.

In response to the suggestion of using a cell phone for tracking purposes, I pondered over the possibility of simply carrying my cell phone with me instead, which would provide all the necessary tracking information while also allowing me to stay connected with my wife and others important contacts. Ultimately, I decided that carrying both options would give me greater peace of mind and flexibility in terms of communication and safety.
