Aon Swing 5, Next 10 Players Ready for Wells Fargo Championship

Taylor Pendrith Secures First Career Win at CJ Cup, Earns Spots in Next Month’s Memorial and Travelers Championships

Taylor Pendrith had a standout performance at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson, securing his first PGA Tour victory. Behind him in second and third place were Ben Kohles and Alex Noren, respectively, with impressive performances at TPC Craig Ranch. Pendrith’s win not only marked a milestone in his career but also earned him spots in the final three signature events of the season, including next week’s Wells Fargo Championship and next month’s Memorial Tournament and Travelers Championship.

Meanwhile, the top five players who earned the most combined points from the Corales Puntacana Championship, Zurich Classic, and Nelson were Pendrith (1), Kohles (2), Noren (4), Billy Horschel (3), and Kevin Tway (5). These players qualified for upcoming events through the Aon Swing 5 category. Chad Ramey narrowly missed out on the top five, finishing sixth in the Swing 5 rankings.

In addition to these rankings, there were minimal changes from the previous signature event in the Aon Next 10 category, which includes the current top 10 players in FedExCup points who did not finish inside the top 50 last season. Only Shane Lowry, who won Zurich with Rory McIlroy, entered the top 10 rankings. The current top 10 players in the Aon Next 10 category are as follows: Ludvig Åberg, Matthieu Pavon, Shane Lowry, Stephan Jaeger, Will Zalatoris, Akshay Bhatia, Jake Knapp, Justin Thomas
