Talkspace introduces new consortium with specialized healthcare providers for behavioral health services

Talkspace Launches Behavioral Health Consortium for Specialized Treatment Programs: Enhancing Access to High-Quality Mental Health Care

Talkspace, a teletherapy company, recently announced the launch of its new initiative called the Behavioral Health Consortium. This program enables clinicians to refer insured members with high-acuity needs to in-network specialty care providers for treatments related to alcoholism, substance use, and eating disorders. The network includes companies like Bicycle Health, Charlie Health, and Ria Health, which offer virtual opioid use treatment, mental health support, and alcohol use treatment respectively.

Members of Talkspace can access the Consortium through the company’s wellness platform called Health Collective. This platform connects patients with high-quality behavioral health care by partnering with companies like Oura, Evernow, and Options MD. Talkspace provides therapy for individuals 13 and older, couples counseling, and medication management services.

Dr. Nikole Benders-Hadi, the chief medical officer at Talkspace emphasized the importance of offering specialized treatment programs for members who may require a higher level of care. By collaborating with trusted partners like Bicycle Health and others in the network, Talkspace aims to provide access to clinically-vetted providers while remaining committed to affordability and accessibility. This initiative reflects Talkspace’s dedication to delivering comprehensive holistic mental health care to its members.

In recent months, Talkspace has formed partnerships with various organizations to expand its offerings. These partnerships include Bicycle Health for opioid use disorder treatment, the Federal Bureau of Prisons for opioid use disorder treatment access, Wheel for virtual care services, Health Gorilla for diagnostic services and Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Company for pharmacy savings. Additionally, Talkspace has teamed up with Thirty Madison to launch mental health services on their platforms Nurx and Cove with Talkspace serving as the primary therapy partner for both programs.

Talkspace’s commitment to delivering quality mental health care is evident in its partnerships and initiatives that focus on providing specialized treatments for those who need it most. With these collaborations in place
