Mt Monger Resources Ltd. (AU:MTM) has announced significant advancements in the recovery of rare earth elements and critical metals from coal fly ash through their latest prototype, Flash Joule Heating (FJH). The FJH prototype has shown impressive improvements in recovering these valuable metals, with increases in recovery rates ranging from 50% to 514% compared to traditional acid leach methods.

What sets the FJH prototype apart is its ability to reduce acid use and waste in the leaching process. This environmentally friendly technology has been scaled up 50 times from its initial proof of concept, demonstrating its potential for widespread adoption.

Mt Monger Resources Ltd. plans to expand testing of the FJH prototype to other metal-rich waste sources, with the goal of improving its economic feasibility and making it an even more attractive option for businesses looking to recover valuable metals while minimizing their environmental impact.
