Mintz Levin Strengthens Its Life Sciences Capabilities with New Hire in Los Angeles
Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo have recently welcomed Siegmund “Sige” Gutman to their team in Los Angeles. Gutman, previously the chair of Proskauer Rose’s life science patent practice, is part of a strategic move by the firm to enhance its life sciences presence in key locations such as Los Angeles, Boston, and New York. This two-partner, 10-attorney addition will strengthen Mintz Levin’s capabilities in the life sciences sector.
As chair of life sciences litigation and co-chair of the firm’s patent litigation group, Gutman will bring extensive experience and expertise to his new role at Mintz Levin. He will be partnering with member David Hanna and a team of eight other attorneys across their offices in Los Angeles, Boston, and New York. (In Mintz Levin’s terminology, member signifies a partner.)
This move highlights the firm’s commitment to providing top-tier legal services in the life sciences industry and positions them for continued success in this sector. With Gutman on board, Mintz Levin is well-positioned to handle complex cases involving life science patents and litigation.
