From Army Veteran to Aerospace Executive: Michael Langman’s Journey at SparkCognition

Michael Langman, a seasoned professional with a diverse background, has recently been appointed as the Vice President of Commercial Aerospace & Defense Sales and Business Development at SparkCognition. Prior to this new role, he served as the Vice President of Strategy, Sales, and Business Development for its Government Systems business.

Throughout his career, Langman has gained extensive experience in various roles within the industry. He began his career as a corporate development/M&A executive at Rockwell Collins before moving on to become a managing director at The McLean Group. He later held the position of Senior Director of Corporate Business Development at Thales’ U.S. business arm before joining SparkCognition Government Systems as a Vice President.

Langman’s diverse background includes five years of service in the U.S. Army, where he held the rank of captain before transitioning to the business sector. This unique perspective and valuable experience have equipped him with the skills necessary to excel in his new role at SparkCognition, where he will be responsible for driving commercial growth and expanding business opportunities in the aerospace and defense industries.
