Freshman Golfer Jay Wasemiller Qualifies for State Tournament with Impressive Score
Jay Wasemiller from Bartlesville is heading to the State after qualifying in boy’s golf at Regionals. He shot an impressive 76, leading the team. Despite finishing in 10th place as a team, Bartlesville had Lucas Wyatt and Nash Zervas both shooting under 90.
As a freshman, Wasemiller’s achievement is particularly notable. He will be competing in the State tournament on Monday and Tuesday at the Oaks Country Club in Tulsa. Stay tuned for updates on Wasemiller’s performance at the State tournament early next week.
