Utah’s Student-Athletes Excel in Graduation as the University Celebrates its 155th Commencement
Utah’s student-athletes are set to receive their degrees during the University of Utah’s Commencement on Thursday, May 2. This event will recognize graduates from Fall 2023, and Spring and Summer 2024, who have earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees. The University’s 155th general commencement can also be viewed on livestream at 6 p.m. MT on Thursday at www.utah.edu/live.
The most recent NCAA GSR Report released in December 2023 shows that Utah’s graduation rate for student-athletes is at an exceptionally high rate of 94%. This marks the sixth consecutive year that Utah’s graduation rate has been 93% or higher and ranks second in the Pac-12 behind Stanford.
The student-athletes receiving their degrees represent a variety of sports including baseball, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, cross country and track & field, football, golf, gymnastics, lacrosse, skiing, soccer, softball, men’s swimming & diving, women’s swimming & diving, men’s tennis
