Which AANHPI-owned businesses in Boston do you love the most?

Unveiling the Best AANHPI and Asian-Owned Businesses in Greater Boston: Update Your Guide for 2024!

We are currently updating our guide to recognize businesses and organizations that deserve recognition. In 2023, Yume Wo Katare was recommended by readers as an AAPI-owned business in Greater Boston. As we continue to celebrate AANHPI Heritage Month, we are looking to update the guide for 2024.

In a recent survey, it was found that over half of Americans cannot name a famous Asian American. However, our readers had no trouble naming their favorite local businesses owned by Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islanders (AANHPIs) and Asians. In the past year alone, readers have shared over 50 businesses and organizations in a guide to AANHPI- and Asian-owned businesses in Greater Boston. The ramen shop Yume Wo Katare in Cambridge and the Asian American Civic Association in Chinatown were among the top picks.

To ensure that our updated guide is accurate and up-to-date, we are asking for reader recommendations of their favorite AANHPI- or Asian-owned business or organization with a brief explanation of why they love it so much. We will verify each recommended business to make sure it is at least 51% Asian or AANHPI-owned and remove any that are no longer operating. Once we have received your suggestions, we will share the updated reader-recommended guide on Boston.com later this month.
