The 2024 Impact and Excellence Awards ceremony, held at the DoubleTree by Hilton, recognized over 50 individuals for their outstanding contributions to the college community. Among the honorees was the Super Science Club, which was awarded Outstanding Club or Organization of the Year. A group of twelve club members and advisers went on stage to accept the award, with President Bryant Pepe expressing his excitement and gratitude for the recognition. Pepe, a third-year student studying physics and earth science, shared that winning the award felt like a culmination of all the hard work the club had put in. He emphasized the club’s commitment to providing the best possible experience for its members and community, and how their efforts have made a positive impact.
Meanwhile, Ben Surosky, President of Adventure Society was recognized as Outstanding Club or Organization Member of the Year during the ceremony. Surosky, a third-year student majoring in Spanish, expressed his happiness at receiving the award and reflected on his journey with his club. He appreciated his role as leader of Adventure Society and was pleased with their progress over time.
