Science on State Street 2024: A Community-Wide Celebration of Science for Environmental Justice and Sustainability

Science on State Street is a yearly event hosted by Framingham State University in collaboration with the Christa McAuliffe Center and the MetroWest STEM Education Network. This community-wide science festival will take place on Saturday, April 27 from 12-3PM at the Christa McAuliffe Center and O’Connor Parking Lot.

The focus of Science on State Street is on themes related to planet Earth, including environmental justice, renewable energy, and environmental sustainability. Attendees have the opportunity to explore science, technology, engineering, and math and learn about how these disciplines support a sustainable future for our planet.

Over 30 exhibitors will be showcasing their work at the festival, including presentations from the Chandra X-Ray Observatory. Visitors can also enjoy planetarium shows in both English and Portuguese.
