Saints Sign Draft Picks and Fortify Their Roster for the Upcoming Season

The Saints have recently announced that they have signed five more draft picks. These include fifth-round quarterback Spencer Rattler, fifth-round receiver Bub Means, fifth-round linebacker Jaylan Ford, sixth-round defensive tackle Khristian Boyd, and seventh-round offensive tackle Josiah Ezirim. Additionally, first-round offensive tackle Taliese Fuaga signed earlier in the day.

With the signing of these draft picks, the Saints are taking another step forward in solidifying their roster for the upcoming season. With both new and returning players on board, the team is gearing up for a successful campaign ahead. Having locked in key positions such as quarterback, receiver, linebacker, defensive tackle, and offensive tackle, the Saints are making strides towards building a competitive and well-rounded team.

Rattler was selected 150th overall and has played three seasons at Oklahoma and two seasons at South Carolina. Throughout his career, he has completed 68.5 percent of his passes for 10,807 yards with 77 touchdowns and 32 interceptions while also rushing for 16 scores. He will now be joining a quarterbacks room that includes Derek Carr and Jake Haener. With these new additions to their roster, the Saints are looking forward to a productive season ahead.
