Pinball Resurgence: Winona Students Restore and Sell Classic Machine for Club Funds

In a trend that’s gaining popularity across the country, pinball machines are being restored to their former glory. Winona Area Learning Center teacher, Matthew Wagner, saw this resurgence and decided to start a new club for his students called the Pinhawk Club.

The members of the Pinhawk Club are working on restoring their first pinball machine and plan to auction it off on Saturday to raise funds for the club. MPR News host, Cathy Wurzer, recently spoke with Wagner and one of the student members, high school junior Corey Duncan, about their efforts and the impact of the club.
