Mark Pope, the new head coach of the Kentucky basketball team, is returning to his alma mater and facing the challenge of building a roster from scratch. With coaching staff hires yet to be made, Pope has a lot on his plate as he prepares for the upcoming season.
During an official visit in Lexington, Kentucky, Pope is hosting Drexel transfer Amari Williams. The basketball program hopes that this visit will help fill out the roster. If Williams commits, he would be the third scholarship player on the Kentucky basketball roster, joining Collin Chandler and Travis Perry. The team is eager to add more talent to the roster as they prepare for the upcoming season.
