MSI on High Alert After Sexual Assault of Minor at Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago
Last week, a young girl was sexually assaulted at the Museum of Science and Industry (MSI) in Chicago, and the offender is still on the run. The Chicago Police Department issued an alert for the 3rd District on April 25 about the incident that took place between 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the museum located at 5700 S. On that day, the minor was separated from her group while exploring the museum’s exhibits. The offender approached her and offered help, leading her to the second floor where the assault took place. During the assault, which lasted only a few minutes, the minor fought back and managed to kick the offender who then fled from the scene.
The assailant is described as a male in his 30s to 40s with a light complexion, medium build, light brown curly hair, colored eyes, a beard, and a tattoo of a roaring lion on his neck. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a light blue shirt, blue vest, blue jeans, and black gym shoes.
