How Science in Sport is Revolutionizing Performance with its Research-Backed Approach to Fueling Athletes
Science in Sport (SiS) has unveiled a new brand platform named ‘You Can’t Beat Science’ in collaboration with M&C Saatchi. This platform emphasizes the brand’s energy products as superior due to their research-driven approach, targeting individuals who engage in multiple marathons or rigorous training sessions. The platform aims to showcase the extensive research that goes into developing SiS products, differentiating it from competitors by highlighting their product’s unique insights.
The research for the brand platform was conducted by M&C Saatchi’s The Source, where focus groups consisting of the brand’s target audience were used to identify key motivations for training. Interestingly, the study revealed that individuals were primarily driven by personal achievement rather than competition with others. This led to the emphasis on beating one’s personal best and continuously striving to surpass past accomplishments.
To coincide with the launch, Science in Sport introduced a new print campaign featuring real athletes in action, captured in striking black and white images. The campaign illustrates how SiS products can support consumers in achieving their goals while highlighting their scientific backing.
