Just six minutes later, Ada Kirkpatrick extended Hickman’s lead to 2-0. The Kewpies continued to dominate, scoring another goal before halftime to take a commanding 3-0 lead over the Jays. In the second half, Hickman scored three more times, including one off a corner kick from Kira Hoenes, securing their victory with a final score of 6-0 over Jefferson City. With this win, Hickman’s record now stands at 5-4 for the season, while Jefferson City drops to 10-3.
The Kewpies will next travel to Smith-Cotton on Friday, while the Jays will have time off until next Monday when they face Battle on the road.
