Google Photos Introduces New Feature: Control Over Faces in Memories Section
Google Photos has recently introduced a new feature to its Memories section, giving users more control over what they see in the app. The new functionality includes a ‘Show less’ button that allows users to limit the appearance of specific faces in their photos. This feature is more permissive than the ‘Block Face’ option, which completely hides faces from Memories and group photos.
In addition to this new feature, Google Photos has also added a button to ‘Hide faces from memories’ in the ‘People and Pets’ section. This allows users to control which faces appear in Memories while still potentially showing up in group photos. Users can access this feature from the Settings section of the app, under Preferences and then clicking on Memories.
The app can detect images of places, pets, or faces and organize them into different sections, making it easier for users to find certain photos. This new functionality will give users more control over their Memories section and the photos that are displayed.
