First Playable Coaching 2024: Boosting Italy’s Video Game Industry through Free Individual Coaching Sessions

In a bid to support the growth of Italy’s burgeoning video game industry, IIDEA, the country’s largest trade association for the sector, has launched First Playable Coaching 2024. This program, which runs from 22nd April to 7th June 2024, is designed to provide free individual coaching sessions to emerging Italian development studios in preparation for First Playable, a major business event set to take place in Florence from 3rd to 5th July.

First Playable Coaching 2024 is a collaboration between IIDEA and the Toscana Film Commission, the Fondazione Sistema Toscana, the ICE Agency, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. The coaching sessions will feature 15 industry expert mentors who will share their expertise with participants in areas such as pitching, identifying suitable publishers for their projects, and maximizing success during the event.

Notable professionals involved in the coaching program include Valerio Di Donato, CEO of 34BigThings, Elisa Farinetti, Business Developer at Broken Arms Games, Yves Hohler, CEO & Co-Founder of Broken Arms Games, and other experts from renowned companies. These mentors will provide guidance and support to participants on their development journey within the video game sector.
