Discover the Wonders of Science at Viva Science SA: An Annual Community Celebration of STEM Education

The Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at UT Health San Antonio is hosting its annual “Viva Science SA” event at the Witte Museum this Saturday. This free and public event takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and aims to enlighten, engage, and excite the San Antonio community by showcasing science in an entertaining way.

Middle school, high school, undergraduate, and graduate students will present posters of their academic research on various health and science topics. The event will also feature interactive science booths with hands-on activities for all ages, as well as science-themed artwork displays. Live entertainment, music, and food trucks will also be available for attendees to enjoy.

Viva Science SA was created to highlight the importance of STEM programs and make science accessible to everyone. The event is part of the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences’ initiative to promote science education.
