Christopher Bell Sets Pole Position for Kansas Cup Race, Kyle Larson and Busch Look to Capitalize on Top Starts

Christopher Bell has secured the pole position for Sunday’s Cup race at Kansas Speedway. This will be Bell’s first pole of the season as a driver for Joe Gibbs Racing. His teammate, Ross Chastain, will start second, followed by Noah Gragson in a career-high third position.

Kyle Larson and Kyle Busch will start fourth and fifth, respectively. Larson continues to perform well with this being his sixth top-five starting position in 12 races this year. Busch has started in the top five three consecutive weeks, claiming the pole at Dover last week and starting fourth at Talladega the week before.

William Byron, who has three wins this season, will be starting a season-low 36th place after hitting the wall during his qualifying run. The race is set to begin at 3:13 p.m. ET on FS1.
