Celebrate Global Cultures: Journey Across the World Returns to St. Cloud This Week
The fourth annual Journey Across the World event at the Paramount Center for the Arts in St. Cloud is set to bring an international atmosphere to the city this week. This cultural experience, a collaboration between the city and St. Cloud State University, promises to be a diverse and enriching evening of entertainment featuring songs, dances, and other lively presentations.
SCSU Associate Vice President for Global and Multicultural Engagement Shahzab Ahmad shared that there will be students from 96 countries participating in the event, although only a selection of cultural presentations will be showcased during the evening. Ahmad believes that Journey Across the World offers something for everyone, providing a unique opportunity for people of all ages to come together at the Paramount Center and experience a diverse range of cultures from around the world in one night.
One of the highlights of the event will be a fashion show featuring over 100 students from different countries. Ahmad believes that this showcase will provide attendees with an opportunity to appreciate and learn about different cultures through fashion. He added that Journey Across the World is not just about entertainment but also about fostering understanding and appreciation among different cultures in our community.
The event is scheduled for Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at the Paramount Center for the Arts in downtown St. Cloud. Tickets are priced at $6 each, and more information can be found on their website.
