Breaking Barriers: Harnessing Diagnostic Network Optimization to Combat Global Health Challenges

The 77th World Health Assembly will convene in Geneva this May to discuss pressing health challenges facing the global community. Fragmented supply chains and market barriers continue to hinder access to diagnostics in low- and middle-income countries, even as enduring threats like HIV, tuberculosis, emerging infectious diseases, and antimicrobial resistance (AMR) require accurate and rapid diagnostic tests for effective treatment and care.

To address these challenges, diagnostic network optimization (DNO) assesses gaps and inefficiencies in healthcare networks. However, data collected during these processes often goes underutilized, hindering progress. That’s why Foreign Policy and Cepheid are hosting an event on May 30th to advance the conversation on diagnostics.

Join us to learn how unlocking DNO insights can enhance pathogen detection, strengthen global health systems, achieve universal health coverage, and combat antimicrobial resistance. Our expert panelists will share their insights on these important issues.
