Apple developing a stylus compatible with Vision Pro viewer: Writing in the air or on the wall?

Apple’s Latest Stylus Brings New Functionality to Its Revolutionary Vision Pro Viewer

Apple is currently developing a stylus that will be compatible with its recently launched Apple Vision Pro viewer. This new stylus, which is expected to be called the Apple Pencil for Vision Pro, has already undergone internal testing and will support the operating system visionOS on which the Vision Pro is based.

The Apple Vision Pro viewer, which was announced last June and launched in the United States in February at a starting price of $3,499, introduces spatial computing technology and features a three-dimensional user interface that supports interaction with applications through hands, voice, and eyes. Apple aims to revolutionize how people work, collaborate, connect, relive memories, and enjoy entertainment with this device. It is considered the most advanced consumer electronics device ever created.

In order to enhance the functionality of the Vision Pro, Apple has developed a new stylus that will be compatible with the viewer. The new stylus will allow users to draw on applications such as Freeform and Pixelmator within the Vision Pro. According to a source familiar with the company, this new stylus will require updated software and it’s expected that Apple will announce the second iteration of the visionOS operating system at its developer conference (WWDC) in June.

This move is part of Apple’s ongoing efforts to continue innovating and expanding the capabilities of its products. With this new stylus and updated software, users will have even more ways to interact with and utilize the powerful features of the Vision Pro viewer.
