Amwins Program Underwriters debuts new insurance for home health care workers

Amwins Underwriting’s Home Health Care HNOA Program: Ensuring Safe and Quality Care for Seniors Aging in Place.

Amwins Underwriting division recently launched a new Home Health Care HNOA program, specifically designed to provide hired and non-owned auto liability coverage for home health care operations. This program is a response to the increasing demand for home health care services, as more seniors choose to age in place and receive medical care at home.

Julie Reisinger, program manager at APU, highlighted the unique challenges faced by home health care providers when delivering essential services to patients in their homes. The specialized HNOA program by APU addresses these challenges by providing tailored coverage that works with experts who understand the evolving healthcare industry.

The team at Amwins is committed to being solutions-driven partners for their clients, ensuring long-term protection by crafting personalized coverage that meets their specific needs. With extensive experience and strong relationships with top-rated carriers, they offer precise coverage for their clients’ unique requirements.

The Home Health Care HNOA program covers all states except Louisiana and offers standalone hired and non-owned auto liability with limits up to $5 million. It caters to a variety of businesses within the home health care sector, including doctors, nurses, therapists, and caregivers. However, accounts involving client/patient/passenger transport are not eligible for this program.

The launch of this new program highlights Amwins’ commitment to addressing the evolving needs of the healthcare industry and providing tailored solutions for their clients. As more seniors age in place and require medical care at home, specialized programs like this one become increasingly important in ensuring that providers have access to the coverage they need to deliver high-quality care while mitigating risk.
