10 Women, 10 Stories: Nominate Now for Northwest Arkansas Business Journal’s Annual Women in Business Awards

The Northwest Arkansas Business Journal is currently accepting nominations for its 10th annual Women in Business class. This recognition honors 10 women who have made significant contributions to their chosen profession and community. The deadline for nominations is Friday, May 10th.

Nominations can be submitted online and individuals from both Northwest Arkansas and the Fort Smith metro area are eligible. Ideal candidates will be accomplished professionals or entrepreneurs with a strong commitment to excellence and community involvement. The goal is to celebrate and empower women in business by highlighting their innovation and dedication to their work and community.

Paul Gatling, editor of the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal, emphasized the importance of recognizing and celebrating the achievements of women in business. “Women have been making remarkable contributions to our communities for years, yet often go unrecognized,” said Gatling. “These awards are an opportunity to showcase these incredible leaders.”

The awards are open to women who are business owners or senior executives in the public, private, or nonprofit sectors. All information about nominees will be kept confidential. As Gatling noted, “We want to ensure that these women feel comfortable sharing their stories without fear of judgment or retribution.”

The honorees will be featured in the June 17th issue of the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal. This is an opportunity to showcase women who lead with excellence and inspire others to succeed in their professional pursuits. “By highlighting these successful women, we hope to inspire future generations of entrepreneurs and business leaders,” said Gatling.
