Wellness Expo Set to Boost Awareness about Colon Cancer and Promote Healthy Living in Monticello

The wellness expo happening in Monticello during Colon Cancer Awareness Month is set to attract more than 30 vendors. Administrator Kimberly Allbritton, who oversees Jefferson and Madison County, emphasizes the importance of bringing such events to the area. In a video, she discusses how the expo aims to raise awareness about colo-rectal health and provide valuable information to the community.

The Jefferson & Madison County Departments of Health Chronic Disease Committee organized the event, which will offer free health screenings, disaster-preparedness information, giveaways, and more. Second Harvest of the Big Bend will also be there with cooking demonstrations and free produce giveaways.

The wellness expo will take place at the First Baptist Church of Monticello from 4 to 7 p.m. It’s free and open to the public, offering a variety of resources and vendors promoting wellness and healthy living. This is an excellent opportunity for people in the Monticello area to learn more about health and wellness. Don’t miss out on it!
