Verona banks on big returns from Tchatchoua sale to Everton

Verona and Director of Sport Sean Sogliano on the Brink of Major Profit with Potential Jackson Tchatchoua Sale to Everton

Verona is poised to make a substantial profit on Jackson Tchatchoua, with reports indicating that the club could sell the Cameroonian international to Everton for around €8m. Tchatchoua, who plays as a right-back, joined Verona on loan last summer from Royal Charleroi Sporting Club and was later purchased by the club for €3m after the option to buy him was activated.

Verona’s director of sport Sean Sogliano has been instrumental in turning the club’s finances around through a series of lucrative deals, and this potential sale to Everton could be another success for him. The deal would almost triple the initial investment made in Tchatchoua if it goes through.

Tchatchoua, who will turn 23 in September, is a versatile player who can also play in more advanced positions or on the left flank. He has earned two senior caps for Cameroon and had an impressive performance during his 27 appearances for Verona last season in Serie A and the Coppa Italia, providing two assists for the team. If this sale goes through, it will be another success story for Verona’s financial revitalization efforts led by Sogliano.
