Valoren’s General Meeting Reveals Ongoing Changes and Lack of Auditor

Valoren, a solar technology company currently undergoing restructuring, held its general meeting in Mikkeli today. The meeting decided to retain the current board of directors, consisting of Hannu Savisalo, Ville Parpola, Tuomas Honkamäki, and Iikka Savisalo for this year. Additionally, the board was granted the authority to determine new share issues until July 2025.

The agenda for the general meeting included discussing last year’s financial statements, confirming the results of the last financial year, deciding on dividend distribution and granting discharges from liability. However, these decisions could not be made as the company currently does not have an auditor. The previous auditor resigned in December 2023 and a replacement has not yet been chosen.

Due to the lack of an auditor, the general meeting decided to suspend further discussions and postpone decisions about the auditor’s fee and selection until the next meeting. The board of directors will convene a follow-up meeting at a later date to address these unresolved issues.

Valoren is currently undergoing significant changes as outlined in an article published by Kauppalehti earlier today. The company is going through a period of transition and its general meeting’s decisions reflect the need for ongoing adjustments and improvements.
