USA TODAY Sports Coaches Reveal Week 3 College Football Rankings

The Texas A&M Basketball team has made a strong start to their season, with a 4-0 record including impressive road wins over Ohio State and SMU. They have shown poise and toughness in close matchups, such as their recent 74-66 win over Oral Roberts. The team’s head coach, Buzz Williams, and his determined squad are preparing to participate in the ESPN Invitational Tournament in Orlando, Florida. They will face Penn State in a rematch, looking to avenge last year’s opening-round loss in the NCAA Tournament.

Texas A&M’s strong start has not gone unnoticed as they have risen two spots to No. 13 in the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll. They are the second highest-ranked SEC program behind Tennessee who ranks at No. 8. Other SEC teams in the top 25 include Alabama (No. 22), Kentucky (No. 16), and Mississippi State who have entered the rankings for the first time this year. Arkansas, Auburn, and South Carolina also received votes in the poll.
