Witnesses reported that the guard was assaulted after denying entry to a group of four men who exhibited signs of obvious intoxication and disruptive behavior.

One of the owners, Emily Ann Jones, described the attack in detail, saying that the victim was punched, choked, tackled, and kicked while on the ground. This marks the third incident in recent years where an employee of Robert’s Western World has been physically attacked. In response to the incident, the honky-tonk has turned to social media for support, denouncing such violent acts and asserting a stance of intolerance towards them.

Jones emphasized the importance of holding offenders accountable for their actions and thanked the community for its support in identifying suspects involved in the assault. Charges against perpetrators are pending and Jones reiterated her zero-tolerance policy towards violence.
