Union-Endicott High School’s technology department honored with Program of Excellence Award

Union-Endicott High School’s Technology Department Celebrates Program of Excellence Award from NYSTEA

Corey Munn, an engineering teacher at Union-Endicott High School, expressed his gratitude for the Program of Excellence Award received by the technology department. The award is one of the highest honors given by the New York State Technology & Engineering Educators Association and recognizes the department’s dedication to providing high-quality technology education.

The technology department has experienced significant growth in enrollment over the past few years and offers a variety of programs including welding, automotive, flight simulation, and carpentry. Teachers Corey Munn, Mike Wichowski, and Tom Palazzo accepted the award on behalf of the department at the NYSTEA annual conference.

Munn stated that it was a great honor to be recognized by his peers for the hard work put into the program. He expressed his pride in receiving this prestigious recognition on behalf of Union-Endicott High School. As a result of this recognition, Union-Endicott High School will be representing New York State for the International Technology Educators & Engineering Association’s Program of Excellence Award.
