UCI Health Expands with $975 Million Acquisition of Pacific Coast Network Hospitals in Southern California

UCI Health, located in Orange, Calif., has recently acquired Tenet Healthcare’s Pacific Coast Network. This acquisition includes four hospitals in Southern California along with their outpatient locations. The purchase was completed for $975 million.

The four medical centers formerly owned by Tenet in Southern California – Fountain Valley Regional Hospital, Lakewood Regional Medical Center, Los Alamitos Medical Center, and Placentia-Linda Hospital – are now part of UCI Health. This transition was confirmed in a news release from UCI Health that was issued on March 26.

With the addition of these hospitals, UCI Health now boasts a total of 858 inpatient beds. This acquisition marks a significant expansion for UCI Health as they continue to grow and enhance their healthcare services in the region.
