On Tuesday, a fire in Flatwoods, Ky., caused significant damage to Tri-State Enterprise and Lawn Care near Argillite Road. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident as everyone inside the building was able to evacuate safely.
Jake Styes, a resident of the area, expressed relief that his family and neighbors were unharmed. He had been at school when the fire broke out and could only see the smoke from a distance. When he returned home, he felt a mix of fear and relief upon seeing the aftermath of the fire.
Styes thanked the first responders for their quick actions in preventing further damage and ensuring the safety of the neighborhood. The Flatwoods Fire Chief stated that investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the fire but believe it to be accidental.
The community is grateful that everyone made it out safely and that the situation was brought under control swiftly. Styes expressed gratitude to the firefighters who helped save his home and his neighbors’ homes.
