Triple Victory: Snohomish High School Takes Over Edmonds-Woodway in Tennis, Softball and Boys’ Soccer

Recently, Snohomish defeated Edmonds-Woodway in a 6-1 victory in girls tennis. In the singles matches, Emerson Norris, Hannah Wells, Mak Dauer, and Anna Steiner from Snohomish emerged victorious against their opponents from Edmonds-Woodway. The doubles teams of Bri Ulrich/Lauren Ellis and Lucy Danitschek/Val Landa-Contreras also secured wins for Snohomish. After the match, Snohomish’s team records were updated to 4-0 while Edmonds-Woodway’s were at 1-1.

Meanwhile, due to weather conditions, the matches between Mountlake Terrace and Marysville Getchell as well as Monroe and Lynnwood were postponed. In softball, Kamiak defeated Lynnwood with standout performances from Scarlette Chapman, Tyler Karabach, and Aliya Boonsripisal. Lynnwood’s Nyree Johnson, Briar Knoth, and Ashara Taylor also contributed to the game.

Monroe secured a win against Edmonds-Woodway with a score of 20-5. No specific details were reported about this match. In boys’ soccer, Mount Si defeated Lynnwood 8-0 but no further information was provided on the game. The team records after the soccer match were updated to Mount Si 5-0 and Lynnwood 2-2-1.

Looking ahead, Lynnwood’s softball team will face Stanwood while the Edmonds Woodway team will play against Cascade. On the other hand, Lynnwood’s boys soccer team will play against Arlington with each game held at their respective high schools.
