Tri-State Lawn Care Owner Overcomes Devastating Fire with Positive Attitude and Community Support

A devastating fire broke out at Tri-State Lawn Care, a local business in Flatwoods, Kentucky on Tuesday afternoon. The building, which is owned by Michael Wheeler, was fully engulfed in flames within minutes. Wheeler, who was unable to be on-site during the fire, expressed shock and disbelief as decades of dedication went up in smoke. Despite his grief over the loss of his business, he emphasized the importance of finding solutions and maintaining a positive outlook in the face of adversity.

Wheeler’s words were echoed by Flatwoods Fire Chief Brent Dean, who reported that the fire broke out at the business on Argillite Road. The building was occupied by three to four people at the time, all of whom managed to escape unharmed. The community is coming together to support Wheeler as he rebuilds and moves forward with Tri-State Lawn Care.

Despite the loss, Wheeler expressed gratitude for the support of the community and the efforts of the firefighters who responded to the blaze. As a long-standing presence in the community, Tri-State Lawn Care remains committed to overcoming this setback and rebuilding for the future.
