Tragic Death of Illinois Tow Truck Driver Highlights Dangers of Roadside Debris

On Tuesday night, the Central Illinois towing community gathered to honor one of their own, Gregory Hostetler, who was killed in a shooting over a $50 tow. The Sheriff’s Office reported that Hostetler got into an argument with Timon Perry, who shot him in the head.

Family, friends, coworkers, and fellow tow truck drivers came together for a memorial procession in honor of Hostetler. His nephew, Wyatt Wages, expressed gratitude to various towing companies for their support. Wages mentioned J&K Towing, TMG towing, Owens, Precision, Lugari, Richard’s, and Shaners for showing amazing support during this difficult time.

The community is coming together to support Hostetler’s loved ones during this tragic time. A GoFundMe page has been set up to assist with funeral and burial expenses. For the latest news updates, weather forecast, sports news, and streaming videos, you can visit WCIA.com.
